I help organizations turn complex content into practical, scenario-based courses, microlearning, and performance support that people can use on the job.
I bring over a decade of experience in education and workforce training - as a teacher, a quality assurance verifier, and a learning designer - into instructional design work grounded in adult learning principles and structured design process. I hold an MSc in Instructional Design and Technology (Distinction), and I've applied it directly: leading a full Moodle redesign for a national youth workforce programme, and at Rumie, winning the 2024 Rumie Learning Design Impact Award as an individual learning designer before being promoted to Squad Lead over a 25-person volunteer team.
My work in classrooms and quality assurance taught me to notice where a learning experience actually breaks down for the person using it - not just where it looks polished. I bring that same diagnostic instinct to eLearning: identifying the real performance gap before designing the solution, and building content that holds up under real use, not just in a portfolio screenshot.
Rumie has supported 400,000+ learners globally. My 10 published Bytes have reached 1.5K learners and earned 159 completions.
Designed Bytes on communication, critical thinking, and workplace skills
Led a distributed team of volunteer designers
Expanded access to free, practical learning for underserved learners
I build interactive, SCORM-ready courses in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360 that work across devices and connectivity levels - the same standard I held building a live Moodle environment for a national workforce programme, not just concept demos.
I turn slide decks, documents, and subject matter expertise into structured, scenario-based learning - starting with needs analysis to find the real performance gap before writing a single objective, the same process I used redesigning a youth programme's learning environment from the ground up.
I identify performance gaps, map learning needs, and create practical training solutions that improve outcomes - informed by years as a quality assurance verifier, where diagnosing why a program isn't delivering is the entire job.
I design training that respects cognitive load and helps people apply what they learn on the job.
With a background in education and learning facilitation, I use learning science to solve business problems and close the gap between what employees know and what they do.
I combine ADDIE and SAM with strong visual design to create training that is engaging, practical, and instructionally sound.
Fictional scenarios built to demonstrate instructional design process - not client engagements.
A branching Storyline concept for practising complaint-handling responses, with escalations planned post-launch.
A Rise 360 concept that presents a practical decision framework through realistic business scenarios and reflection.
A gamified knowledge check that boosts learner engagement and retention through challenge-based interaction.
A visual job-aid concept for accurate data entry during high-stress patient interviews.
Real-World Projects
Projects completed for real organizations, with real constraints and real stakeholders.
A live 6-month engagement redesigning a national youth programme's Moodle environment for virtual, self-paced, and tutor-led delivery - validated by the programme coordinator's reference letter.
A published Rumie Byte helping healthcare workers strengthen patient and colleague communication in high-pressure settings - live on Rumie's platform.
